July 2019 Student Spotlight
Share |

"The Best way to predict your Future is to create it."

Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of the United States

The MPTA places tremendous value on our student members. The student members of today will become the future leaders of our organization. Our student members are truly creating their own future; at a very early stage in their careers they see the value in their professional organization.

Each month the MPTA will place a spotlight on one of our tremendous student physical therapists or student physical therapist assistants. Please contact Jessica Gronewold, MPTA Social Media Chair, if you would like to recommend a student for our Spotlight page.

I enjoy finding ways to stay active and between summer women’s softball league, working out, and hiking with the dog I manage to do so. I’m a huge St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues fan and love going to games anytime I come back to St. Louis.  In terms of physical therapy, I’m not sure what kind of setting I want to end up in yet.  I’ve loved my rotation in trauma in the hospital setting but also loved my time in outpatient orthopedics, so I’m currently torn.  I hope to attend the 2020 APTA CSM in Denver, CO and to get more active in advocacy for physical therapy.
