"The Best way to predict your Future is to create it."
Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of the United States
The MPTA places tremendous value on our student members. The student members of today will become the future leaders of our organization. Our student members are truly creating their own future; at a very early stage in their careers they see the value in their professional organization.
Each month the MPTA will place a spotlight on one of our tremendous student physical therapists or student physical therapist assistants. Please contact Sylvia Czuppon, MPTA Social Media Chair, if you would like to recommend a student for our Spotlight page.

~~ It is an honor to be nominated by my professors at Southwest Baptist University. I am incredibly grateful to the faculty and staff in the DPT department at SBU for their amazing instruction and endless support. Southwest Baptist University has offered many ways to integrate my Christian Worldview and personal mission statement in my future physical therapy practice. Last summer, I had the opportunity to serve on a medical mission outreach to East Asia to serve orphans with disabilities at a medical facility. My heart was forever changed on that trip. I learned how to use my education and training to serve the children at the medical facility. This opportunity transformed my life to see my vocation as my purpose. My passion for physical therapy will forever coincide with my purpose to serve others. -Mackalah PAST MPTA STUDENT SPOTLIGHTS:
