What is the MSSIG?

The Missouri Student Special Interest Group (MSSIG) is run under the APTA MO by the students for the students. The MSSIG allows PT and PTA students to meet, confer, and promote interests about classes, the APTA MO, and the APTA.

Objectives:
•promote the profession of physical therapy and help the APTA MO and APTA keep our profession moving forward.
•provide an exchange of information between student in PT and PTA programs

•represent the interest of students in official decision-making bodies within APTA MO
•prepare students for future participation and leadership roles within APTA MO and the profession.

•mentorship opportunities
•develop leadership skills
•receive important information about operations of APTA MO and your future as a PT or PTA

*as a member of the APTA, a student is automatically a member of the student assembly and you have the option to become a member of the APTA MO

*as a student member of the APTA MO, students are automatically members of the MSSIG
