Ryan Duncan 

 

Ryan Duncan, PT, DPT is an Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy and Neurology within the Program in Physical Therapy at Washington University in St. Louis. He has substantial experience in the evaluation of individuals with Parkinson’s disease (PD) and has published several studies examining the utility of different outcome measures in predicting falls as well as the effects of various treatments including medication, deep brain stimulation, and exercise interventions in people with PD. Ryan also treats patients with PD in the Washington University Program in Physical Therapy Clinics.  Ryan completed his Bachelor’s degree in Health Science (2007) and Master’s degree in Physical Therapy (2008) at Maryville University before completing his post-professional Doctorate in Physical Therapy (2012) at Washington University. Ryan serves on the Scientific Advisory Board for the Davis Phinney Foundation. Ryan also currently serves as Chair of the Eastern District of the Missouri Physical Therapy Association and Co-Chair of the Combined Sections Meeting Programming Committee of the Neurology Section of the APTA.
