MPTA would like to recognize Gabriel as the MPTA 2017 March Student Spotlight!

• 4.0 GPA
• Member of the National Technical Honor Society

Currently doing a group research project in my seminar class on the efficacy of instrument assisted therapy compared to standard manual therapy. 

 

Other Accomplishments:

• Fifty State Half Marathon Club member, I have ran half marathons in 9 states including 1 international half marathon in Manila, Philippines. 

• Active run streak of having run at least a mile a day, currently at 3 years and 5 months, ran 1 mile in the Tokyo Airport and 1 mile in a snowstorm in Forest Park to keep streak intact.

Other Information:

• Let Me Run volunteer coach for 5 seasons
• Let Me Run St. Louis advisory council member
• Active in local church as lector, choir member, ACTS retreat team
• Have run close to 100 races ranging from 800 meter to the marathon
• Play tournament chess
• Former high school English teacher for 7 years, PTA is a mid-career change
