Zonta’s Women of Achievement Award - Paula Burnett, PT

On May 17, 2016, MPTA President Paula Burnett was named one of Zonta’s Women of Achievement.  Zonta is an international organization with clubs in 70 countries.  The group strives to improve our world for women and girls. This award was established to increase community awareness, understanding, and appreciation of women and their diverse contributions.  Women of Achievement are nominated by businesses, organizations and the community at large.  Paula was one of two winners chosen from 14 outstanding nominees.  The nominees included area physicians, business women, a pastor, and others who give a tremendous amount of time and talent to the community.

Paula’s work as a physical therapist, her service on the PT Advisory Commission, and her leadership as President of MPTA were listed among the reasons for her selection.  Congratulations Paula, for this well-deserved recognition!   THANK YOU so much for making a difference every day and for inspiring others to do the same.
