Congratulations to the 2015 Student Conclave Award recipients, Sarah Cooper and Sarah Patchen! 

The MPTA awarded each of them $300 scholarships to help them attend the 2015 National Student Conclave this year.

National Student Conclave 2015 was not only a great learning experience, but it was also a great time of networking and meeting physical therapy students and physical therapists from across the country. Each day was full of fresh, exciting topics that students were able to choose from in order to best suit their interests in the physical therapy field. From vestibular physical therapy to learning about finances, there was something for everyone. It was inspiring to learn about so many different topics from experts in the field and physical therapists who were in our same shoes as physical therapy students just a few years ago.

                  When we weren’t busy learning, we were even more busy mingling with other students, companies, and faculty from programs across the country. It was fascinating to see how different everyone’s background was, but how similar we all were in our passion for physical therapy. This picture shows the signatures of everyone in attendance at the National Student Conclave 2015 and demonstrates exactly what the whole experience was about: students from all across the country uniting under one mission to transform society through physical therapy.
